Hayahay Massage & Wellness – Calgary was founded by husband and wife team Niño Jumawid (CEO) and Cynde Wong (Director) — proud immigrants from Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines.
Niño Jumawid, the CEO and founder of Hayahay Massage & Wellness in Calgary, is a former seafarer with extensive experience sailing across domestic and international waters. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in wellness business management and a deep commitment to client satisfaction. Through his vision and leadership, Hayahay Massage has become a well-respected haven for quality massage therapy, known for its professional service and inviting atmosphere.
Cynde Wong, RMT, serves as the Director and Lead Trainer at Hayahay Massage, where she specializes in the distinct massage techniques developed within the company. Over seven years of professional experience in the massage therapy industry, she is committed to mentoring and equipping aspiring therapists with the skills and knowledge to excel in their craft. She is a devoted mother of three, seamlessly balancing her dedication to wellness education with her commitment to family life.

How much do your massage services cost?
Our standard rates are: 60 minutes — $120+Tax; 90 minutes — $175+Tax; 120 minutes — $240+Tax
Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?
We highly recommend booking or call for an appointment to secure your preferred time on either Chinook or 17th Ave clinics. However, walk-ins are always welcome when a therapist is available.
Are your therapists Certified Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs)?
Yes, all our therapists at Hayahay Massage are Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) with 2,200 hours of training — recognized by all major insurance companies, not just in Calgary, but all of Alberta.
What should I expect during my first visit?
You’ll fill out our online health intake form, then your therapist will discuss your goals and any areas of concern. The therapist will explain the session and ensure your comfort at all times.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.
Can I choose male or female therapist?
Yes, you can request your preferred therapist when booking your appointment.
Do you offer direct billing to insurance?
Yes! We offer direct billing to most major insurance providers for your convenience. However, in some cases like newly hired RMT, they are not yet in our insurance portal, we will provide Official Reciept to be reimburse to your insurance manually and sometimes insurance portal website was down. Pls be ready for the payment because this cases may occure anytime.
Can I claim my massage on my health insurance?
Yes! As long as your therapist is registered (which all ours are), you can claim your massage for reimbursement through your extended health benefits.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we offer gift cards for any amount — perfect for birthdays, holidays, or thank-you gifts.
